Danno

Single-finger capture, 7 millimeters thin.

FAP 30 (Single-finger Verification) FBI PIV-Certified FIPS 201

Danno is the FAP 30, FBI PIV-certified single-finger fingerprint sensor designed to be built into other devices. At 20 grams and roughly the size of a coin, it packs IB's low-power LES technology into a footprint thin enough to disappear inside compact handhelds, kiosks, and integrated identity terminals. Available as an OEM module or a low-profile desktop unit, with 256-bit AES encryption on board and the same unified SDK as the rest of the IB line.

Why Danno

Faster

  • Rapid dry finger capture
  • No need to clean latent prints in high-volume situations
  • Easy integration via single SDK for all Integrated Biometrics certified products

Better

  • Unaffected by extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or bright artificial lights
  • 7 mm thin and 20 g, the smallest sensor body in the IB line
  • Rejects common spoofing attacks
  • Emits no bright lights during scans
  • Meets or exceeds US military durability specifications

Smarter

  • One SDK for all IB scanners, compatible with IB software offerings
  • 256-bit AES encryption on board
  • Responsive support team that answers in hours, not weeks
  • Twenty years of certifications and live field deployments

Patented LES Technology

Integrated Biometrics' scanners use our patented light-emitting sensor (LES) technology to deliver fixed and mobile FBI certified fingerprint imaging in an exceptionally durable, lightweight scanner.

LES-based biometric solutions provide picture-perfect image quality in both direct and indirect sunlight and are resistant to finger contaminants such as grease, oil, water, dust, and chemicals.

Where Danno Shows Up

OEM Integration & Embedded Identity

Danno is purpose-built for integration. At 20 grams and 7 millimeters thin, it has been built into compact identity devices like GripID's FAP 30 titanium handheld, which pairs Danno with facial recognition capture and connects to phones, tablets, and computers over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

Mobile ID & Compact Handhelds

Ruggedized identity terminals, multi-modal field-officer devices, and pocket-sized verification tools where adding a certified single-finger sensor cannot grow the host enclosure. Danno's encryption-on-device profile also fits security workflows that require captured templates to be protected at the sensor.

Unattended Verification & Kiosks

PIV-grade single-finger checks at kiosks, point-of-service terminals, access-control panels, and self-service stations. The low-profile desktop housing keeps the footprint minimal on the customer-facing surface.

Multi-Modal Identity Systems

Combination biometric devices that pair fingerprint with face, iris, or document capture in a single enclosure. Danno provides the certified fingerprint side of the stack on the same unified SDK as the rest of the IB line.
